2001-2004ABLacquiredbybioMerieux,Inc.andlaterspunoutundertheInstitutM rieuxasanindependentU.S.corporation.Duringthistime,ABLcontinuestodevelopproductdevelopmentservicesagainstabroadarrayofinfectiousdiseaseandimmune-baseddiseasetargets.
2011ABLmovedintoanewcorporateheadquartersandstate-of-the-artcGMPfacilityinRockville,MD.
2014ABLinvestedinclinicalservicesthroughtheacquisitionofPlatinePharmaSolutions,SA(Lyon,France)andbuild-outofadedicatedGCLPclinicaltestinglaboratoryinRockville.
2015ABLEurope,awholly-ownedsubsidiaryofABL,Inc.formedtoleadABLmanufacturingoperationsinEurope.
2016ABLsignificantlyexpandsitscGMPcapABIlitybyacquiringamanufacturingplantfromTransgene,SA(Strasbourg,France)fortheproductionofvirus-basedgenetherapies,oncolyticsandvaccines.Thisfacility,managedbyABLEurope,hasbeeninspectedandapprovedforGMPoperationsbytheANSM,maintainsmultiplebulkproductionssuites,ahigh-speedisolator-basedasepticfill/finishline,andQClaboratoriesfordevelopmentandexecutionofproductreleaseandstABIlitystudies.
